Episode 74: Close Family Ties and Fish You Should Not Keep as Pets

We start off the Indian Ocean, and Southern Ocean, and Antarctica month with Casey talking about the highlights from his most recent tidepooling excursion. Ali tells us about a cat that got shot by someone’s neighbor, before Casey gives more depressing news, this time about krill in Antarctica. Ali goes on to tell us about an adventurous sea lion that found itself on a freeway in San Diego. They go on to discuss some of their Favorite Fish of the Indian Ocean Often Found in the Pet Trade, the Longhorn Cowfish and the Blue Hippo Tang. Casey gives us a lesson on our deep diving Animal of the Week, the Long-Finned Pilot Whale, before the episode comes to a close with Casey challenging Ali to an International Polar Bear Day quiz.
